DSQ:35th Anniversary GALA concert with Edwin Barker, bass & Yuri Funahashi, piano at Bowdoin College, Brunswick

It’s true– the DSQ turns 35 this year!  Join us for a big celebration with some great music, two wonderful guest artists, a fabulous hall and a fun post concert catered reception.  Speeches will be made and stories shared marking this milestone, so come take part in the festivities.

The program is delicious:

Antonín Dvořák Quintet for Two Violins, Viola, Cello, Double Bass

Franz Schubert Quintet in A major, D. 667 “Trout”

The bass player is none other than the renowned Edwin Barker, former Principal of the Boston Symphony.

The pianist is Yuri Funahashi, whom we’re lucky to have living here in Maine.

The concert will take place in Bowdoin’s Studzinski Hall and the reception will follow immediately, next door in the Moulton Union.
