SUMMARY:DSQ Quartet Institute Concert & Special Event
DESCRIPTION:This unique event will feature a concert by the participants and faculty of the DaPonte String Quartet Institute 2024.  It will include a brief demonstration of rehearsal techniques we’ve shared during our week together.  There will also be a reception during which you can meet this year’s participants. \nThe program will begin with a few movements of Beethoven String Quartet in C# Minor\, Op. 131 performed by Institute participants.  It will conclude with Schubert’s great Cello Quintet  played by the DSQ and our guest faculty cellist\, Scott Kluksdahl. \nThere is no admission\, but we ask that you reserve your ticket to help us get an idea of audience size.  Donations for our Institute program are gratefully accepted at the door\, or you can donate through our website when you reserve your ticket\, https://dapontequartet.org/tickets/ \nLinden Tree Meetinghouse is located at 10 Church Lane in Phippsburg.
